The Quaich - Deep Sea Blue
The quaich (pronounced "quake", from the Gaelic word "cuach") has a rich heritage in Scotland. It is a uniquely Scottish invention, having no apparent connection to any other European drinking vessel. It was traditionally used to welcome as well as say farewell to guests, usually with a dram of whisky.
Each piece is made on a potters wheel and hand glazed, therefore size and colours may vary slightly. 12.5 cm x 4 cm
